Get to know me…
I've known for as long as I can remember that I wanted to become a therapist. While it may sound cliché, I’ve always found myself naturally stepping into the role of a helper. That instinct stems from a deep curiosity about people—their paths, their stories, and what shaped them into who they are today. I’ve long felt a calling to offer the kind of support and safe space I once needed but didn’t always receive.
Over the past 10+ years, I’ve worked closely with individuals and families, supporting them through some of life’s most challenging moments. These experiences have deepened my understanding of resilience, healing, and the power of genuine connection.
I believe that the therapeutic alliance is the cornerstone of effective therapy. By fostering authentic, trusting relationships, I aim to create a foundation where clients feel empowered to grow, heal, and thrive—even in the face of adversity.
My Areas of expertise include (But not limited to):
Anxiety
Depression
Addiction/Substance Use
Codependency
Life Transitions
Relationship Issues
Family Dynamics
Self Esteem Challenges
Vocational/Professional Stress
Trauma
Grief
Client population
I work with clients in their early adolescence (10+)up to older adults.
When working with adolescents, it is imperative to engage the family, if possible, as support for the young person.
When working with adults, you choose who is a part of your support system and the potential role they play in your treatment.
therapy for other Helping Professionals
I love working with other therapists or professionals in the helping professions as this poses a unique set of stressors including vicarious trauma, compassion fatigue, and sometimes burn out. Taking care of yourself as a therapist or helping professional is key to being effective while serving others in the field.
